Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code
    2.
  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the DevTools window => Navigate to the Console tab in the window => Paste the export code => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code, then if you're on mobile look for the *globe* icon and tap on it to run the code (Chrome only), for PC users just hit enter.
  4. The deck will save automatically
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

Shoutout to guys who helped me stay sane and improve my playing in season 43's Maliss format!

Playing only Branded this format I figured that deck builds around 40 / max. 50 cards are to be prefered.

Super Polymerization is becoming your best friend, you want to draw into it a lot. Going second is a hard time, but win chances increase with opening Maxx C, Bystials, Lancea and the already mentioned Super Polymerization.

You need to understand, that not every game is winable and some boards going second can't be broken. Save your life time and go next, keep yourself from tilting. As soon as you start to get mad you are going to make miss plays.

Having tested a lot of different builds, 3x Albaz and 3x Aluber are a must for me. Cartesia at 1 is fine, I have not missed drawing her a 2nd time. 2x Quem because she sustains a lot of possible plays, she also a summoning target of Titaniklad and Granguignol.

3x Lancea for the Maliss/Crystron games, cant leave it out in the current season. 1x Magnamhut and 3x Saronir, both utilize further plays and are good interruptions. 1x Shrouded Albion is enough, with under 50 cards more copies will end up as potential bricks.

Heavy Storm over Duster, in case you need to destroy your own spells (Retribution) or monsters sent to spell/trap-zone.

Foolish for the tragedy search or other plays, must use. Sarc over Allure, 2 dedicated searchs felt better than random draws. Lancea messes Sarc up though.

3x Fusion Deployment most often used as starter. Sometimes you can also get a Albaz Fusion of through it. Weak to Maxx C though.

1x Branded in White as your backup fusion utility or extender or even as discard material for Albaz. Would not want to miss it.

1x Branded Lost is a must play.

3x Super Polymerization as stated above.

2x Called By The Grave, useful in a multitude of situations and sometimes it just needs to be your Ash protection opening Branded Fusion.

1x Branded Opening, I dislike the fusion lock but this card is personal preference. Try out how many copies work for you, can play 2 or 3.

3x Branded In High Spirits, must play, would not want to miss a copy.

1x Branded In Red, must play, comes in clutch a lot of times.

1x Branded Banishment, amazing card also works with Predaplant Triphyoverutum

2x Retribution feels more useful to me than 1x Sword, Sword is a worse brick than Retribution
