Notes & Combos
You might be asking why 4 Bystials. Well, I based this deck on Jesse Perez’s magical math numbers.
8 Bystials total, to go second and extend: 3 Magnamhut 1 Druiswurm 2 Baldrake 3 March Hare (functions like a Bystial for the deck — used for extension) → ~63.5% chance to see at least one in a 6-card opening hand (hypergeometric method)
I run 12 starters: 3 White Rabbit 3 Dormouse (Maliss P. Dormouse) 3 Underground 2 Gold Sarcophagus 1 Cynet Mining → ~65.39% chance to open at least 1 in 5 cards
Tech cards: 1 Allure of Darkness 2 Called by the Grave 1 Crossout Designator
Hand Traps: 16 total Including the Bystials. Gives solid coverage vs GY decks while staying engine-relevant.
Deck Strategy: Built to play both first and second. Starters are consistent. Bystials disrupt the opponent or extend mine. March Hare gives free follow-ups and works like a pseudo-Bystial in many lines.
Draw Odds (40-card deck):
Draw Size ≥1 Starter (12) ≥1 Bystial (8)
5 cards ~65.39% ~55.2% 6 cards ~73.0% ~63.5%
Note: Draw probabilities are calculated via hypergeometric distribution, the same framework used by Jesse Perez to explain consistency math in deckbuilding.
