Notes & Combos

Originally meant for last season I finally got S-Force to Master 1. With Master Duel hitting a record low according to steam charts my passion for this game has drop significantly that I was thinking of skipping this ranked climb just like last month. Decided to persevere though since I felt I owe it to this deck as I spent quite of bit of time building this deck cause s-force alone needs all the help it can get.

So what does s-force do? In this version of the deck they are just use to bait out hand traps as many people are just shotgunning hand traps left and right. Our main combo is getting S-Force Rappa on the field to then use it's effect to summon gravitino from the deck. This searches s-force chase which guarantees a return a card to hand against our opponent and can be use as banish cost for our s-force cards. Depending on the hand we can also return 2 or even 3 cards back to hand and I got a replay that shows that. In addition s-force works similar to mekk-knights in which they have column effects that can interupt our opponent. Gravitino makes any monster in it's column get banished when it leaves the field and Edge Razor in it's column prevent monsters be use for link 3 or higher monster. Sounds good on paper but very weak in practice so that's where the second part of our deck comes in clutch.

Did you Know the "S" in S-Force doesn't stand for security but actually Spright? Well this is where the second part of the deck comes in. Because everything revolves around S-Force Rappa which is a level 2 why not pair it with the best level 2 cards around. Spright recently got fully released from the banlist so it was a easy fit into the deck.

I'm assuming everyone knows the spright combo so I'll just explain how to get into the spright combo from just s-force cards. All you need is rappa and any other s-force card:

  1. Normal Summon Rappa then activate it's effect.
  2. Rappa will return to the hand and special summon razor from the deck
  3. Activate razor to summon back rappa
  4. Link off into Spright Sprind and start the spright combo from their.

If the other card in your hand is either razor or gravitino you can get s-force chase by using the same combo. Just use either razor or gravitino to make S-Force NightChaser to use it's effect to return itself to summon the banished S-Force card. Then it's a simple spright sprind combo from there.
