Notes & Combos
Insanely fun deck I have no idea what I'm doing and I was still able to get an 11 win streak from Master 4 to Master 2 I love playing a good deck with everything going for it omg this must be what taking care of your mental health feels like
Pretty standard list imo doesn't rock the boat. Tried Horus and Speedroid engines, feel neither come close to the flexibility Millennium package provides. Had best results with the 2-2-1 Millennium ratios personally. Don't have to rely on Zombie Vampire mills to get the game started usually but is still nice to have as a back-up; most of the time can just use the Millenium package to coast on Photon Lord (sometimes alongside Baron and S:P - different attributes is nice to avoid super poly being such a huge punish).
There were times where I bricked on handtraps (or more realistically three Sulfefnir or a sole citree) with no other plays and considered another copy of Trist and/or Sulfador, but in general the bricks weren't common and the extra Trist/Sulfador could still lead to bricks in awkward hands.
I liked having Accel Synchro Stardust Dragon as a way to turn busted hands into busted fields that don't lose as much to board breakers/decks with a lot of gas (e.g. aron + Photon Lord + S:P + Trist ready to make Quarion or Hang-on Mach on opponent's turn and trap set). The deck has a lot of gas, consistency & recursion but often makes relatively mid-range end boards so sometimes its nice to use the gas and make an unfair board for extra safety (respectfully)
Rest of the extra deck felt pretty comfy. The only flex spot I've been playing with was Accel Synchron (vs Invoked Mechaba when Cyber Dragon Nova is Nib'd, Crystron Ametrix for plays on my turn while still doing something during the opponent's turn, and Hi-Speedroid Chanbara for OTK). Each one had their uses but it was mostly a toss-up between Chanbara and Accel Synchron. The Chanbara OTK was really convenient for early OTK under Maxx C but didn't come up often. Accel Synchron came up to make Baron instead of Quarion. Also when using Dawn Dragster's effect to negate a spell would then make Accel Synchron with Trist and a level 3 (which would help get Smiger in the grave if needed for follow-up), then Accel Synchron and level 5 Dawn Dragster make Baron for a follow-up omni negate. You can mostly achieve the same thing by playing a second Dawn Dragster instead, but then you need to bring out Citree instead (and I don't have a second Dawn Dragster so whomp poverty)
