Hello again, fellow Magicians! 🧙‍♂️

Wasn’t planning to submit any list until we got some new support, but the climb was surprisingly fast and smooth, just vibin’ all the way to Master and it was pretty easy with this build tbh. I’ve been really enjoying Primite DM so far, so I wanted to share it with you all.

This is in my opinion the best way to play the deck: an optimized 40 card clean, consistent and competitive version of Primite DM with some improved ratios compared to what I started testing (for example, 2 copies of Secrets, a crucial card that you want to open or search on turn 1 for great endboard and interactions during your opponent's turn, but that also helps going second, dodging negates or enabling OTKs). You can also play it at 1 if you need room for other cards, but not playing 1 at least is a big mistake.

The Primite engine synergizes incredibly well with Dark Magician, and even without needing to run Circle or Eternal Soul the deck doesn’t lose its identity at all, it still feels like a pure version, but one that’s actually competitive. Drillbeam acts like Circle, Lode plays the role of Eternal Soul, and Beryl can even be seen as a stand-in for Rod. Optionally, you can cut some cards to fit a larger Bystial engine (e.g. +3 Lubellion, 1 Regained, and 1 Baldrake) or even D.D. Crow, which is very underrated right now imo.

All of this results in a solid, consistent list that still feels like true DM at its core.
