Notes & Combos
Contrary to popular belief, this is the superior deck to Maliss right now.
I played over 100 games on Rated with Maliss and had like a 54% win rate, and I went 16-4 right after switching to this. Tasuku had like an 8 hour session with Maliss and only climbed 30-50 points, and I don't even think it's just because of Lancea, Maliss also doesn't have a great compromise to Fuwa. You may think that Red Ransom + Mirror is good because it also sets up MTP-07, but it literally just loses to Dormouse + March Hare. This puts Maliss at a weird spot where it's not as good as you think going 1st, and it's obviously not great going 2nd being a deck with a lower hand trap count.
I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the smarter players pivot away from Maliss for the Duelist Cup. I just don't see much edge in that deck in any aspect from the overall meta, deckbuilding, to piloting. If I were to guess, I think Gem-Knight will be a pretty successful deck with Ryzeal being in the mix as well.
In terms of the list, the only thing I will say is that Spenta is insane, if you didn't realize that already. 1 card producing 4 level 4's with the ability to pop backrow going second and the only effective hand trap against it being Ash is nuts.
