Notes & Combos

All Vaalmonica needed was a splashable engine that:

• Did not need your normal
• Can enter using any two monsters
• Clears monsters on its own (engraver eff on requiem)
• Plays through 2-3 interruptions
• Made dimonno full combo and invitare semi combo, 1 card combos

Endboard is:

• zebufera (with followed rhythm in GY or set)
• s:p
• caesar
• optionally: trap set OR trap in GY and Creation is set (link zeb on their turn)

As Vaalmonica is a deck about choices, you ALWAYS have 2 choices every step.

If you can make necroquip with tract, do it before scales for a free draw.

What do with certain fields?

DIMONNO ONLY: zeb OR caesar

DIMONNO + 1 MONSTER: s:p+Zeb. Zeb is soft opt so banish your own zeb, use s:p as link mat for Zeb #2

• Dimonno > requiem > lacrima > engraver gy > lacrima + monster = sequence > sequence make ED lacrima [MAKE SURE LURRIE AND TRACT ARE IN DECK, ELSE SUMMON engraver > sequence + engraver = sp > resummon engraver by returning sequence > ED lacrima + engraver makes caesar] > engraver to hand > engraver > tract > lurrie > ED lacrima + lurrie = sp > sequence = zebufera

scales + versare:

• Scales> versare send selettrice (1D) > selettrice to hand > ns selettrice > add scelta > scelta add field spell (2D) > field spell add dimonno > pend dimonno, dimonno copy scelta add trap to hand (3D) >
• endboard is trap set, s:p, zeb

scale + invitare:

• Scales > Invitare summon selettrice (VAAL FIELD LOCK) > selettrice = artemis > selettrice to hand > ns selettrice add scelta > scelta add field spell (1D) > pend demon, copy scelta add versare (2D)> versare send trap (3D) > artemis = zeb, dimonno = requiem

• endboard: fs paradise play, zebufera + trap set

Angello/Dimonno/Scelta:

• Angello scale and send scelta to GY. ns Dimonno, copy scelta (1D), field spell add Sele, ns sele add disarmonia (1A 2D), add scelta (3D), add trap.
• end on zeb/sp/trap set

Selettrice + extra search:

• Sele > scelta > versare > trap is combo. With extra search, you can: add disarmonia to set trap, OR search creation & summon zeb on opp turn. (think maxx c)

Why 3 invitare? Opp Maxx C, I chain invitare summon demon> attempt Vaal combo> make requiem.

1 fuwa? I'm poor

Lava golem? Vaal can give up ns. You have 2 choices: ns + pend summon OR pend summon + invitare (Vaal lock).
